Julia Child’s Menu Cookbook

One of the books I find myself going over and over again is Julia Child’s Menu Cookbook.

The book was first published in 1978, and the last edition dates back from 1991. As best as I can tell, the book is not published anymore, so some digging may be required.

Julia Child’s Menu Cookbook

It includes a lot of basic food preparations tips and tricks, gorgeous deserts, soups, fish, chicken beef, you name it.  Everything you need to put together the menu for a feast, whether impromptu, or for a special occasion.

One of my favorites is the rack of lamb with mustard  and thyme.  Really amazing cookbook and a prized possesion.

This book is a compiling of Julia Child and Company and Julia Child and More Company (from the two PBS series). I wish they would put the shows on DVD. I had originally bought the single books and then discovered them combined into The Menu Cookbook. I gave my mother the JC&C and JC&MC
when I purchased this book. I love all of her cookbooks from The French Chef
to The Way to Cook. She was the best!
