One of the books I find myself going over and over again is Julia Child’s Menu Cookbook.
The book was first published in 1978, and the last edition dates back from 1991. As best as I can tell, the book is not published anymore, so some digging may be required.
It includes a lot of basic food preparations tips and tricks, gorgeous deserts, soups, fish, chicken beef, you name it.Â Everything you need to put together the menu for a feast, whether impromptu, or for a special occasion.
One of my favorites is the rack of lamb with mustardÂ and thyme.Â Really amazing cookbook and a prized possesion.
